Vintage three rail

“OO” Layout

 

The Club had the good fortune to be given a Hornby Dublo three rail layout, along with a small amount of Locomotives and Rolling Stock.

 

Terry Hickman took an immediate interest , since he had a considerable amount of 3 Rail Stock, later and suggested he would take responsibility for the development of the layout.

 

Terry has expanded what was there and created a portable layout which takes a trick wherever it goes - many, many, older modellers cut their teeth on such a layout and when we show it, nostalgia rules !

 

‘Dorlish’ shows what model railways were like before the 1960’s when Hornby finally succumbed and adopted two rail as the standard.
